The Founders

Dave and Larry co-founded Progressive Fence Installations Ltd. with a vision of creating a company that delivers quality fencing services and exceptional customer service. They each have over 30 years of “hands-on” fencing experience and have always been dedicated to providing clients with practical solutions for their projects.

Al Schweighardt, General Manager/Estimation

In 1985 Al began his fencing career as a labourer, working for his father’s company. He then advanced into estimation and management. Today, as a Partner and General Manager, Al provides leadership and oversees all of our company’s project and business development initiatives. He is responsible for the management of all aspects of the company’s activities including strategic planning, personnel development and long-term growth. Al is personally committed to the successful completion of every PFI project.

Lars Olson, Senior Estimation

Lars brings over a decade of experience in the fencing industry. He is responsible for major estimating and project management. Lars is well versed all aspects of the industry and has a keen eye for technical detail. He has been instrumental in the success of many of our large projects. Lars has been a member of our team since 2002.

Doug Jensen, Foreman

Doug has over 20 years of work experience with Progressive Fence Installations Ltd. and has become a valued member of our team. He has worked on a broad spectrum of complex jobs over the years. Doug is responsible for crew management, installation and Site Safety.

Drew Keeper, Foreman

Drew has been with Progressive Fence Installations Ltd. for over 20 years as well. He has the ability to thoroughly analyze and lay out the objectives that need to be accomplished. Drew is called upon to work on projects with complicated or intricate details and is a valuable asset to our team.

Shawn Roark, Foreman

Shawn joined Progressive Fence Installations Ltd. in 2009, after relocating from Seattle, Washington. He brings over a dozen years of extensive experience within the industry. He energetically tackles projects and can be counted on to produce a quality product every time.
